Anytime I was bored in a meeting at Roblox, I was on Signal. You probably saw me typing away on my laptop and assumed I was working on something important, but no. More likely, I was trying to find the right meme to express how I felt about RoGRO. Signal was my happy place. But it only worked for me because I had been at Roblox since the early days, and I had most everyone’s phone number.

After I left Roblox, I discovered that people don’t get to use Signal like I did. Most of you seem to just sit through these meetings! We built Clamshell to help you out. You can find everyone at Roblox to message on it, and it’s end-to-end encrypted, so even we can’t read your messages. It’s really that simple.
